During my time in Córdoba, Argentina, from August to November, I completed an internship with Briste, a technology startup focused on innovative business solutions. Over the course of 140 hours, from mid-August to early November, I worked closely with the marketing and operations teams under the guidance of two co-founders. ENGLISH: During my time in Córdoba, I had the privilege of interning with Briste, an innovative startup specializing in technology solutions for businesses. My internship lasted from mid-August to the end of November, totaling 140 hours, and was conducted alongside the marketing and operations teams. I worked directly under two of the three co-founders, Guille and Guillerma, which provided me with valuable insights into the company’s vision and operations.

My primary responsibilities included assisting with the onboarding process for new clients, which allowed me to understand the importance of client relationships and the nuances of effective communication. Afterward, I was tasked with organizing all receipts from January to November 2023, an experience that taught me the significance of meticulous record-keeping in a startup environment.

I also contributed to the marketing department by conducting quality control for flyers that were to be distributed at an upcoming event. This role required attention to detail and an understanding of how effective marketing materials can influence audience engagement. However, my most significant contribution was translating Briste's app from Spanish to English. This task not only honed my language skills but also involved researching and informing the team about the unique French language laws in Quebec, which is crucial for the app’s compliance and market strategy.

Interning in a Spanish-speaking country was a transformative experience, as I learned to adapt and work within a new cultural context. Engaging with Paraguayan clients to gather additional information highlighted the importance of cross-cultural communication and flexibility. The workplace culture at Briste was collaborative and supportive, making it easier for me to contribute effectively and develop strong working relationships.

Our supervisors ensured that we were involved in various activities beyond our immediate tasks, such as attending local tech meetups and networking events. These opportunities enriched my understanding of Briste's position within the tech industry and the dynamics of startup culture.

Overall, my internship at Briste not only enhanced my professional skills but also deepened my appreciation for the entrepreneurial spirit in Córdoba. The insights I gained during this experience will undoubtedly shape my future endeavors in the tech industry.
